Rules and regulations

Article 1: Opening hours and prices

Opening hours and prices are shown on notices within the water park and communicated to the general public through the press, cable TV, internet and various publications.
Issue of entry permits is suspended 30 minutes before closing time.
The pools and play areas must always be vacated 15 minutes before the park closes.
The large water slide and the lazy river will close half an hour before the park closes.

Article 2: Access and fees

Access to Nautiland is only allowed to those holding an individual or group entry permit, which implies acceptance of these regulations in full and without reservation. Users agree to comply with all additional instructions given by Nautiland staff on duty.
In the event of overcrowding of the pools, or for reasons of health and safety, entry to the pool may be temporarily refused.
In return for payment, a wristband for access will be issued. This must also be used for exit via the exit turnstile. If this wristband is lost, a charge will be made equivalent to the full price.

Article 3: Admission

The water park will not allow admission to:
• Children under 8 years old unless accompanied by an adult
• Animals
• People suffering from infectious diseases or skin conditions
• People who are visibly dirty

• People whose dress or language is unacceptable
• People whose behaviour offends decency
• People who are inebriated
• People intending to beg, distribute pamphlets or sell

Article 4: Liability

Failure to comply with the regulations and all forbidden activities will, depending on how serious they are judged to be, result in a warning, removal from the water park (without reimbursement and with resort to the police where necessary), a temporary or permanent ban on access to the water park.
The management of the water park accepts no liability in the event of any accident resulting from a failure to comply with the regulations.

Article 5: Supervision

The facility is under the supervision of the Lifeguards and the Management.
They will advise or make comments to users. Swimmers are expected to comply with their advice or requests in the interests of good order and safety.
Use of the video surveillance system allows them to better ensure the proper functioning, discipline and safety of the water park.

Article 6: Changing rooms

Anyone wanting to change must do so in the changing rooms.
Property and clothing must be stored in the locker provided. The management and staff accept no liability for the theft, loss or destruction of property or clothing.
The user is responsible for ensuring their locker is properly secured.
Lost property should be handed in to the reception desk.
Access to the changing rooms must be with bare feet only.

Article 7: Dress

Decent swimwear is required. A monokini is acceptable on the grassed beaches outside the building. For reasons of hygiene, Bermuda shorts, shorts, cycling shorts, leotards, dancewear and underwear may not be worn when swimming.
Signs showing acceptable dress are displayed.
The rules state that:
• Women and girls must be in a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit
• Men must wear swimming trunks (only)
• The rules apply even to young children
• Swim nappies are required for babies (if you have forgotten to bring any, they are sold at the entrance)

Access to the pool area in street clothes, whether with bare feet or in footwear, is only allowed with the explicit permission of the Management and when absolutely necessary.

Nautiland is not liable for the premature wear or tear of swimsuits or trunks as a result of using the water slides etc.

Article 8: Miscellaneous requirements and prohibitions

YOU MUST NOT
• Smoke inside the building
• Chew gum while swimming
• Run beside the pools
• Perform static immersion without prior permission from the Lifeguards
• Drop paper or other litter except in the waste bins
• Loiter in the changing rooms or toilets
• Carry out any kind of commercial activity
• Bring dangerous objects, especially glass, into the water park
• Spit, urinate, or pollute the water
• Damage or break anything (perpetrators will be required to pay for any damage)
• Use diving-masks with a glass screen
• Use soap anywhere except in the changing room showers
• Eat, picnic, or drink except in the cafeteria
• Bring alcoholic drinks into the water park
• Engage in gambling or political or religious meetings
• Use radios, speakers or amplifiers indoors in the centre

YOU MUST
• Undress in the changing rooms before placing your property in the lockers
• Shower using soap before entering the pools
• Tie up long or mid-length hair
• Ask the Lifeguards for permission before using balls and other recreational or diving equipment (non-exhaustive list)
• Remove food from a bag except on the grass outside or in the cafeteria in the dining area
• Keep the volume low if you use any sound equipment (e.g. a radio) and only use it outdoors
• Obtain prior permission from the Management before using cameras or video equipment
• Before diving into the water, ensure there is no danger or risk to yourself or others

Article 9: Pools

Paddling pools: Temperature 32°
Exclusively reserved for young children up to the age of 6 under the supervision of an adult. Wearing a swimsuit is compulsory. Underwear is not allowed.

Swimming pool: Temperature 29°
It is advisable to swim lengthways. Diving is not allowed except from the starting blocks. Non-swimmers must not venture beyond the 1.30 metre line.

Lazy river
Using the lazy river is allowed for children over 12 years old (minimum height 95 cm).
Children aged 8 years or over can use the lazy river if accompanied by an adult.
The Management accepts no liability in the event of an accident resulting from any infringement of this rule.
Large water slide:
The water slide is intended for use by only one person at a time. The Management accepts no liability in the event of an accident resulting from any infringement of this rule. Children under 6 years old may be accompanied by a parent or other adult provided they are held in a seated position (during periods when the pools are not busy).
Children under 6 years old and non-swimming children must be supervised from the start until they reach the arrival pool.
As soon as they reach the arrival pool, users must get out immediately.
The next user must wait for the green light before taking their turn and must make sure they don’t crash into the person before them on the slide or in the arrival pool. Users must not brake or stop during the descent.
Any user breaking these rules will be held responsible for any resulting accident.
Whirlpool bath: Temperature 35°
The whirlpool bath is reserved for adults (maximum period of use: 10 minutes) and is not permitted for children under 6 years of age. During periods when the pool is not busy, children aged 6 years or over may use the bath (for a maximum of 10 minutes) if accompanied by an adult.
This bath is intended to be a place of rest and relaxation where playing, jumping or splashing should be avoided.
Entering and leaving the pool must be via the steps.
Outdoor paddling pool and sensory path
These facilities may be closed by the lifeguards due to weather conditions.
Exclusively reserved for young children up to the age of 6 under adult supervision. A swimsuit is compulsory. Underwear is not allowed.

Article 10: Saunas, steam rooms and relaxation area

Use of the sauna, steam room and relaxation area is reserved for adults.
Entry is subject to payment of the Sauna supplement. A wristband is provided showing that the supplement has been paid. Anyone entering this area without a wristband will be asked to pay this supplement immediately or be excluded from the centre without any right to claim reimbursement of the entry fee.
Entry to this area implies acceptance of the specific regulations displayed in the sauna areas, which apply over and above the current Nautiland rules and regulations.
The Management accepts no liability for any user’s medical incompatibility with these facilities and reminds everyone that it is the user’s responsibility to have their physical fitness for the use of a sauna or steam room checked by their medical adviser.

Article 11: Car Parks

Cars, motor bikes, push bikes and vehicles of any nature must be parked in the spaces intended for this use and situated in public areas.
Nautiland accepts no liability for the security of vehicles and any property they contain. This remains the responsibility of their owners.

 

Article 12: Groups, Associations, Schools

Groups wishing to use the complex at times when it is open to the public are subject to the current rules and regulations, together with a specific agreement to be completed and signed at each visit.
Throughout their stay in the facility, group leaders and supervisors must supervise their group and ensure that the rules and regulations are followed.
Associations and school groups attending the pool at times reserved for them shall have previously drawn up an agreement with the Management of Nautiland.

Article 13: Physical fitness

Nautiland accepts no liability for any user’s medical incompatibility with the activities on offer within the site and reminds all users that it is their responsibility to have their fitness for the activities concerned assessed periodically by a medical adviser, especially for the sauna, steam room and sports activities.
Conditions caused by the treatment of the water with chlorine may under no circumstances be the subject of complaints.
Inexperienced swimmers should use the pools reserved for non-swimmers.

Article 14: Clubs and societies

In addition to individual customers, school groups and associations, the sports facilities may be used at other times for events of all kinds: Christmas parties, club events, birthday parties etc.

Article 15: Swimming lessons

Except for school groups, swimming tuition is the sole preserve of the establishment’s lifeguards.
The price for lessons does not include the water park entry fee.

Article 16: Lost or stolen membership cards and wristbands

As with a credit/debit card, you can “stop” your membership wristband when you notice it has been lost, by informing the Nautiland reception desk as soon as possible.
However, you will be charged €4 (administrative fee) for a new wristband, and this is non-refundable even if the original is found.
The wristband will only be replaced once.
Monthly and quarterly memberships
Memberships are strictly personal.
The validity of a membership may be extended once (1 week minimum, 5 weeks maximum) for the following 2 reasons:
– the holder goes on holiday (the card must be deposited at the payment desk)
– the pool is closed for emptying

 

Article 17: Cafeteria

Access to the cafeteria is covered by these regulations. Additional requirements, displayed in the cafeteria, must also be followed. The Management may exceptionally allow certain exemptions regarding the opening hours.

 

Article 18: Closure

The Management of Nautiland shall inform customers of any closure required for technical reasons, compulsory closure, or closure for maintenance.

Article 19: Application of and changes to the regulations

The Director, Lifeguards and staff as a whole are responsible, singly and severally, for applying the current rules and regulations.
Any person who fails to comply with these conditions may be excluded immediately, without the right to claim reimbursement.
The Lifeguards and the establishment as a whole cannot be held responsible where the rules and regulations have not been followed.
The Management of Nautiland reserves the right to make changes to the current rules and regulations to adapt them to new situations.
